Ahead of the election on December 7, National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer John Mahama will introduce the youth manifesto today. The event, which will be held at the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA), is a part of the youth-focused events being held in honor of August 12, 2024, International Youth Day. George Opare Addo, the National Youth Organizer, stated in an interview that the NDC selected the day to reassure youth of their resolve to reset Ghana.
Mr. Addo emphasized that Mr. Mahama’s plans and commitments to empower young people and solve the pressing issues they confront will be detailed in the manifesto.
It will be a platform for the youth to interact with Mr Mahama, ask questions and discuss his policies, particularly those focused on reducing youth unemployment and promoting education, skills development, and entrepreneurship.
