This directive is in accordance with the provisions of the Presidential (Transition) Act, 2012 (Act 845).

“All board, commission, and council members appointed by former President Akufo-Addo or a former Minister of State ended their terms on January 7, 2025, following President Mahama’s swearing-in, according to Acting Spokesperson Felix Kwakye Ofosu.”

The statement emphasised that the reconstitution of the affected boards, commissions, councils, and statutory corporations will take place in due course, in accordance with their respective enabling laws.
