It will be recalled that a section of the Youth Wing of the National Democratic Congress at the Ayawaso North Constituency started circulating the posters of a renowned and respected business mogul who also serves as Youth Ambassador for Peace and Development Alhaji Salamu Amadu as an Aspiring Candidate for the Ayawaso North seat. The business mogul has released a recorded video of his disclaiming the ideal of his contest the seat.
In the video he indicated that he appreciates all who wish well hence he wants supports him to contest and serve his people. That is sign of endorsement by his own people to serve. “ I have learnt a lot of lesson from this action by the people, I have the opportunity to meet former president John Dramani Mahama, Vice President Mahmoud Bawumia and top politicians, I discussed business and development of my people with these personalities. Hence, I will reecho my decision again “I am not contesting the Ayawaso North contest”. The quest of youth has encouraged to do more development project to my people across the Zongo community in Ghana”.
The conveyors of the campaign, they only know Alhaji Salamu Amadu as a businessman who doesn’t involve himself in politics but they want to bring him on board to help develop the Ayawaso North Constituency. “We know him as someone who doesn’t associate himself with politics but as a business-minded person. Alhaji Salamu is the Moses of our time; he is the biblical Moses who can lead the youth from this constituency to the promised land”.
The entrepreneur, philanthropist and Youth Ambassador, recently cut sod for the construction of a waiting room area at the Nima Divisional Headquarters and done many projects for the twin community hence their quest to convince or push him to lead the constituency.
Amb. Alhaji Abdul Salamu Amadu took the opportunity to ask the youth pursue education in whatever field as it is the surest way to redevelop ourselves and community but hey maybe I might contest someday, either the MPship or presidency. Thank you all for the good wishes.
