Ghana has launched a new Visa-on-arrival policy from December 1, 2024, to January 15, 2025, to boost tourism during the festive season. This initiative, part of the ‘December in GH’ campaign under the “Beyond the Return” programme, aims to promote Ghana as a top destination for culture and heritage tourism.
The policy aims to attract more visitors to experience Ghana’s vibrant December celebrations, including its renowned festivals, concerts, and cultural experiences. Kwaku Ofori Asiamah, the Minister of Transport, has instructed airlines operating in Ghana to update their systems to support the new policy, ensuring a smooth and efficient entry process.
