His Excellency John Dramani Mahama, the former President of Ghana, made significant contributions during the closing ceremony of the National Muslim Conference held at the Kanda Mosque in Accra on Sunday.
Mahama donated a vehicle to the Zakat and Sadaqa Fund, supporting initiatives aimed at aiding the underprivileged within the Muslim community. In addition, he presented five motorbikes to several media houses, including Marhaba FM, Hijra TV, Sharubutu TV, Hafiz TV and Baina TV, to enhance their operational capabilities.
Following his engagements in Accra, Mahama traveled to Tamale, where he furthered his commitment to education by donating a vehicle to the Islamic Education Unit of the Ghana Education Service. These gestures highlight Mahama’s continued dedication to supporting education and welfare programs in the country, particularly within the Muslim community.
