Atlanta – George August 13th 2025 – The organizers of the Ghana Music Festival are pleased to announce a new date for the highly anticipated 2025 edition of the event. Originally scheduled to OPEN on August 15 -16 2025 in Worcester with the main event from August 22 -24 2025 in Atlanta Georgia, the festival will now take place from October 3 to 5, 2025, at the originally planned venue, Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgiatech)
This decision was made to ensure a more impactful, well-curated, and globally recognized event that will elevate Ghanaian music to new heights. The additional preparation time will allow organizers to secure top-tier international and local collaborations, enhance production quality, and deliver an unforgettable experience for artists, fans, and stakeholders.
Mr. Ahmed Alhassan Sali, Creative Lead of the Ghana Music Festival, stated:
“Our goal is to propel Ghanaian music beyond its current boundaries, showcasing our rich culture and talent on a grander scale. The new dates in October will give us the opportunity to bring together the best in music, Cultural Heritage, some traditional leaders Tourism experts and creative partners, ensuring a festival that resonates across Africa and the world.”
All previously purchased tickets will remain valid for the new dates, with additional ticket tiers and special packages to be announced soon. Fans and partners can expect exciting lineup reveals, sponsor announcements, and new festival attractions in the coming months.
