The Ghana Grid Company LTD (GRIDCo) and the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) have attributed the current intermittent power supply, commonly known as ‘dumsor’, to a technical challenge at the Ghana National Gas Company’s (GNGC) Gas Processing Plant (GPP) in Atuabo.
Recently, parts of the country have experienced power outages due to limited gas supply for power generation. In a joint statement, GRIDCo and ECG apologized unreservedly for the inconveniences caused and assured that GNGC engineers are working to resolve the issue and restore full gas supply.
