A young Muslim married man was caught in act with a known gay activist in Aflao, Volta Region. Mazu Suleymane Djibril is a married man with a baby girl, an Arabic teacher who teaches Islam to young people in Aflao zongo. Aflao Zongo is settlers of predominately Muslims.
MSTV GH information has it that the young teacher was caught with a popular gay in a club in Ghana where only gays, bisexual and all LGBTQ+ people meet to have wine down. Though people have spotted them severally in his community but never thought that we were having affairs until the unfortunate incident happened. Mazu was seen as very quiet and gentle who will involve himself such an act and moreso being married man who has a baby girl.
After Mazu was seen at a gay club, the communities suspected him and start monitoring until a day his known gay visited him at home and drove him out to known location. Before his return back home his brother phoned to informed “secretly” him that there is a group mob who are after him with sticks, cutlass and other stuffs to attack him. Because he is a gay, will not be allowed to practice such in the community and more so as an Arabic teacher, who has influence on the children he teaches. And easily influence the children into it.
Upon hearing that Mazu did not step a foot into his house nor come see his family. His worried wife reached out all his friends, family and all to no avail. She could not report to the police of the prosecution system in Ghana if found.
He had received death threats from those around me who do not support his lifestyle choices, his family too have been threatened several times due to his sexual orientation going against my religious beliefs.
They would have detained him and maybe even killed if he did not leave hence he left Ghana immediately as he gathered all his travel documents to relocate safely. NB: No matter where he is, can be located in Ghana the threats will still be received
