Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Person to join our dynamic team at Marhaba FM. This role is commission-based only and is ideal for ambitious sales professionals who are eager to achieve and exceed targets through direct sales efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct Sales: Identify, approach, and secure new clients for advertising on Marhaba FM.
- Client Acquisition: Generate leads, set up meetings, and close deals with potential advertisers.
- Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure repeat business.
- Sales Targets: Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Market Awareness: Stay informed about market trends and competitive offerings to effectively position Marhaba FM’s advertising solutions.
- Reporting: Provide regular updates on sales activities and progress towards targets.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in direct sales, preferably in media or advertising.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Hausa and English.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Highly self-motivated and driven by success.
- Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong understanding of the Hausa culture and market is a plus
