Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accountant Admin to join our team at Marhaba FM. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and administrative tasks, ensuring the smooth financial and operational management of our station.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounting Duties:

  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
  • Prepare and maintain financial records and statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Process payroll and ensure timely payment of salaries and benefits.
  • Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow.
  • Prepare budgets, financial reports, and forecasts to assist in strategic planning.
  • Handle tax filings and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
  • Liaise with auditors and provide necessary documentation for audits.

Administrative Duties:

  • Manage office supplies, equipment, and inventory, ensuring a well-organized and efficient work environment.
  • Handle correspondence, phone calls, and inquiries, directing them to the appropriate personnel as needed.
  • Maintain and update employee records, including attendance, leave, and personnel files.
  • Coordinate meetings, appointments, and logistics for staff and management.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and other documents for management.
  • Ensure the office complies with health and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an accountant or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in work.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism.
  • Experience in a media or broadcasting environment is a plus.
